2100587 - SOLMAN_SETUP - Web service invocation problem - SoapFaultCode: 3

Symptom

During the execution of SOLMAN_SETUP in the SAP Solution Manager 7.1 some activities are failing with the following errors, for example activities:

  • "Connect Diagnostics Agent to Solution Manager".
  • "Configure CA Wily Introscope".

 The error thrown in step "Connect Diagnostics Agent to Solution Manager":

Error - SoapFaultCode:3 Header element [http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2004/08/addressing]To, marked with mustUnderstand=1, is not recognized. 
Error - Web service invocation problem on host <host> and port <port> protocol : http logical port name : LP_WS_SMDAGENT_MONITORING. Check note 1822831
