2100646 - Error 16133 'Configuration of 100 connections has been exceeded, connection rejected' from Open Server - SRS

Symptom

  • The SAP Replication Sever (SRS) log has a lot of Open Server errors 16133 :

    ERROR #21 USER( ) - xec/exec.c(520) Open server call to routine 'srv_negotiate' failed.
    No Sybase library information is available.
    Open Server error: Error: 16133, State: 0, Severity 10 -- 'Configuration of 100 connections has been exceeded, connection rejected'.
    Open Server error: Error: 16133, State: 0, Severity 10 -- 'Configuration of 100 connections has been exceeded, connection rejected'
     
  • Users cannot connect to Replication Server.
