Symptom

  • A Free-hand SQL based WebI report converted from DeskI fails to refresh with the following error - "[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server ]Login failed for user' xxx\xxx.(WIS 10901)".
  • Problem happens only when the DeskI report being converted has a shared or personal connection uses one of the following Authentication Mode's-
    • Use Single Sign-On when refreshing reports at View Time
    • Use BusinessObjects credential mapping
