2103237 - Granting Upline Manager Access to Job Requisition and Application Details - Recruiting Management

How to allow managers to access Job Requisitions and/or Job Applications that are associated with hiring managers downstream from them in the reporting hierarchy so that they can review them?

To enable this functionality, follow the two steps below or refer to the Implementation Guide.

1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Recruiting Team Settings and select "Allow managers above Hiring Manager to have access."
   
   
   
   
2. Add GM+ to field permissions in the Job Requisition template and/or Application template if it's being uploaded via Provisioning. Otherwise, you can also configure this role via Manage Templates under "Upline Managers":

Once both steps have been followed, upline managers will have visibility to the Hiring Manager's access (read or write depending on permissions granted in step 2).

NOTE: The field level permissions for upline managers are set by using the GM+ designator in the Requisition XML and Application XML. If this permission is not specified then upline manager users will receive V permissions on the records (unless they happen to be associated to the requisition in another operator's field).
