2103889 - Navigation Targets not available in Columns

When characteristics are displayed in Columns, it is not possible to access navigation targets.

SAP Business ByDesign

Open any report that has navigation targets available for characteristics and move a characteristic from Rows to Columns, when in Columns, you will receive an error and not be able to navigate to the object.

Navigation is not supported for any data that is displayed as column header.

System is working as designed. Navigation targets are available for characteristics in Rows, but for Columns, this is not supported.
