2104517 - Using wildcards on Keyword Search feature of Succession Talent Search

How can I use wildcards when using the Keyword Search functionality within Succession Talent Search?

Wildcards can be used in order to boost the searching capabilities within Keyword Search in both the legacy version of Talent Search and Talent Search v2. Currently, the Keyword Search allows you to use three different Wildcards: asterisks, question marks, and tildes.
 

• For single character wildcard search, use the question mark (?) symbol. The single character wildcard search looks for terms that match exactly with the single character replaced.
  Eg: Searching for se? will find see, sea, set, sew… To search for "text" or "test" you can use the search term: te?t.
  
  
• For multiple character wildcard search, use the asterisk (*) symbol. Multiple character wildcard searches looks for zero or more characters. You can also use the wildcard searches in the middle of a term te*t
  Eg: To search for test, tests or tester, you can use test*. In another example, if you looked for se*, it will find seat, seats, seating, search, searches, seems, seal, seals, etc.
  
  
• For fuzzy searches, which auto correct based on algorithm logic, use the tilde (~) symbol at the end of a Single word Term.
  Eg: Search for a term similar in spelling to "roam" use the fuzzy search: “roam”. This search will find terms like foam and roams.
  
  
• For exact matches of your search term, use the quotation marks (") symbol to encapsulate your search term.
  Eg: To search exactly for a username BillyBob123, you would use the search term "BillyBob123".
