2104897 - Form Templates for a Certain Template Group are Missing in Form Template Maintenance

You search for a certain form template group in the Form Template Maintenance work center view and notice that no results are returned in the search.

1. Go to the Application and User Management work center.
2. Under Business Flexibility, acess the Form Template Maintenance work center view.
3. Show Active Forms.
4. Search for the required form, for example, Purchase Order form template.
5. No results are found and there is no option for uploading a new template, since the form template group does not exist.

The form templates are not displaying in the system because there are only non-localized and/or pre-localized country/regions scoped.

Some of the template groups might not yet be supported in the current system version for the country/regions in scope, which is why the templates can't be found.

With each new product release, the SAP Business ByDesign works on improving the localization of its features—hence, these forms might be available for the relevant country/regions in the future.

Until then, you can create a variant from existing form templates of a country/region that is already localized by SAP. To do that:

1. In the Business Configuration, scope a fully localized country/region (such as US, Germany etc.)—this will enable the form templates for these country/regions.
2. Go to the Form Template Maintenance work center view and select the form template for the newly scoped country/region.
3. Click the Copy button, then select As New Variant.
4. In the prompt that opens, set the Country/Region and Language for the new variant.
5. Click Ok to complete the creation.

After that is done, you can even remove the localized country/region from scope and use only the form variants created.
