2105096 - EPM Add-In - Error in Log: The HTTP request is unauthorized

Symptom

When connecting to BPC via EPM Add-In the following error appears in the log:

  1. ERROR|Connection|FPMXLClient.Connection.ConnectionManager.CreateConnection||||||1|The HTTP request is unauthorized with client authentication scheme 'Negotiate'. The authentication header received from the server was 'Negotiate,NTLM,Basic realm="<ServerName>"'.#
  2. ERROR|Connection|FPMXLClient.Connection.ConnectionManager.CreateConnection||||||1|The HTTP request is unauthorized with client authentication scheme 'Anonymous'. The authentication header received from the server was 'Negotiate,NTLM,Basic realm="<ServerName>"'.#
