2105365 - How to Activate the Approval Process

An approval process was defined in the system. It is desired to know how to activate the process (turn it to Active status).

 SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Application and User Management work center.
2. Select the Approval Processes sub view under the view Task Distribution.
3. Select the button Copy to define a new approval process.
4. Define all the conditions according to your requirement.
5. Select Save and Close button.

The status of the approval process changes to Draft. It is required to activate it.

1. Go to the Application and User Management work center.
2. Select the Approval Processes sub view under the view Task Distribution.
3. Highlight the new approval process and select the Edit Validity button.
4. Define the dates according to the requirement.
5. Select Save and Close button.

The status of the approval process will then change to Active.
