2106871 - Journal Entry Header Text and Journal Entry Item Text for G/L Account are Blank

Journal Entry Header Text and Journal Entry Item Text are not displayed in G/L Accounts - Line Items report.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the General Ledger work center.
2. Go to the Reports view.
3. Go to the List sub view.
4. Search for the G/L Accounts - Line Items Report and run it.

Under Journal Entry Header Text and Journal Entry Item Text characteristics, the symbol # (unassigned) is shown.

The G/L account is a Purchase in Transit Account. These are temporary accounts as these accounts are not direct posting. Instead, it is a clearing account for the direct postings.

This is the expected system behavior.

Purchase in Transit G/L accounts are temporary accounts and these accounts are not direct posting account. Instead, it is clearing account for the direct posting like the supplier invoice and Goods and Service Receipt.

Hence, no text under Journal Entry Header Text and Journal Entry Item Text can be seen for G/L Account Line Item report.
