2108334 - RRI - Runtime Dependent Specifics

Symptom

When jumping from a BW query to another report, the filters being handed over to the target report may differ depending on the frontend application used:

  • Frontend applications such as BEx Analyzer and ABAP-Web (or e.g. also test transaction RSRT(HTML)) hand over the selections of the whole row when you jump from a characteristic which is in the drilldown.
  • Frontend applications such as Analysis for Office or Java Web only hand over the selections of the characteristic you jump from as well a selections 'left' of the characteristic (while the ones right of it are getting ignored).
