Symptom

  • The Server Intelligent Agent (SIA) is unable to start after upgrading to BO XI 3.1 SP7 FP7.1
  • The Central Management Server (CMS) is started correctly
  • Unable to connect to the Infoview after setting the [JAVA_HOME] variable
  • In the SIA trace log and Windows Event Viewer, the following line is seen:
    The port number is likely in use. Port is in use: 6400
