  • Error occurs when viewing LOV of hierarchy node variable in WebI or Analysis edition for OLAP prompt after upgrade BW to 7.4 SP5

  • Error message:
    Termination message sent ABEND RS_EXCEPTION (000): Source type \CLASS=CL_RSBOLAP_VARIABLE_CHARACTERI is not compatible, for the purposes of assignment, with target type
     MSGV1: Source type \CLASS=CL_RSBOLAP_VARIABLE_CHARACTERI
     MSGV2: is not compatible, for the purposes of assignment,
     MSGV3: with target type
