2109288 - Diagnostic Agent running in stand-alone mode gives error "Metric Limit exceeded: 1000" and some SAP Host Agent metrics are missing or gray

Symptom

Metrics under SAP Host Agent randomly turn gray and become unavailable
In the SMDAgentApplication log file, the following exception is thrown:
