2109392 - Error Appears Upon Changing Shipment Date to Future Date in the Third-Party Delivery Notification

In the third-party delivery notification document, you would like to set the shipment date to the future date. However system shows an error message when you set the shipment date to future date.

Error: Shipment date must not be in the future.

For Example: Shipment Date = 21/07/2017 and Planned Delivery Date = 20/07/2017.

1. Go to the Third-Party Order Fulfillment work center
2. Go to the Third-Party Delivery Notifications view
3. Select the query Not Released Delivery Notifications
4. Select Edit
5. Enter Shipment Date to future date
6. Error appears

The Shipment Date in the Third-Party Delivery Notification document refers to the Ordered On date in the purchase order document and this date will be taken as a Shipment Date in to the Third-Party Delivery Notification. Always Planned Delivery Date must be after the Shipment Date.

It is not possible to change the Shipment Date to future date in the Third-Party Delivery Notification document. You can change the Shipment Date only to todays date or previous dates with in 6 months. However you can change the Planned Delivery Date to future date. Since the shipment date refers to an Ordering date of the purchase order document, it is not possible to change the order date in the purchase order as well. This is the standard behavior.
