2109838 - Signal 11 in dpdb__dflpurge with a stacktrace - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • An "infected with signal 11 (SEGV)" in the module dpdb__dflpurge() followed by a stack trace 
  • Also a message "Spinlocks held by kpid ... Spinlock Resource->rdbt_ext_spin at address ..." is reported in the ASE errorlog
  • Then the ASE server is shut down
