Symptom

  • Server crashes when getting one of the following connection properties for another connection using connection_property( property_name, connection_number )
    • CharSet
    • NCharCharset
    • ClientLibrary 
    • Language
    • Any of the database connection options or statistics
  • Crash occurs very rarely in timing dependent cases
  • The crash can occur with pooled, new and existing connections
