2111351 - Random Vertical Lines appear over the chart in Dashboard Design

Symptom

      Random Vertical Lines appear over the line chart used in dashboard.

Environment

  • SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform 4.1 SP4
  • SAP BusinessObjects Dashboards 4.1 SP4
  • Adobe Flash Version 15.0.0.223
  • Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a Dashboard having line chart and range slider.
  2. Observe that while previewing the dashboard , random lines start getting dispalyed over the chart .

 

Cause

    The " Enable Data Animation " was enabled from the Dashboard .

Resolution

  1. From the Dashboard Design Tool, go to the tab " Animations and Effects " .
  2. Uncheck the option "Enable Data Animation".
  3. The random lines will disappear .
