2111544 - Error 12324 "In database '<db>', the server failed to open required table... " with stacktrace in dbt_get - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • Error 12324 and a stack trace in the ASE errorlog may be reported during the execution of either LOAD DATABASE or USE <database> commands:

Error: 12324, Severity: 21, State: 1
In database 'dbname', the server failed to open required table 'tblname'. Please contact Sybase Technical Support.

  • ASE has the Trace Flag 7406 set, which enforces OAM page scans for calculation of free space.
     
  • The stack trace includes modules:
