Symptom
- The query plan generated by the ASE server for an ad-hoc query could be different depending on:
- Statement Cache is enabled (the 'statement cache size' configuration parameter is greater than 0)
- Statement Cache is disabled (the 'statement cache size' configuration parameter is equal to 0)
- The output of the query plan is activated by using "set showplan on".
