Symptom

  • Unable to enter the license key: Server error' with a valid license key

Environment

  • Windows 2010
  • Lumira 1.21

 

Reproducing the Issue

1. Launch Lumira Client

2. go to "Help"

3. select "enter Keycode"

4. enter keycode

5. get error message " 'Unable to enter the license key: Server error'

Cause

  • Folder C:\users\public is not accessible,
  • C:\Users\ <user>\.sapvi folder does not exist

Resolution

 

Contact your Domain Administrator and ensure you have "write" rights for the folder C:\USERS\PUBLIC for your Windows account
