2113138 - Error: Gateway not reachable String index out of range: -1 - SUP

Symptom

  • Client is using oData and connecting via the Relay Server

  • The following error is thrown in the relay server log:

    HTTP/1.1 500 Error occurred while connecting to the URL sent: Gateway not reachable String index out of range: -1

  • Sybase Unwired Platform also shows the following error in the Server log (UnwiredServer\logs\<hostname>-server.log):

    java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -1

  • Relay Server
  • oData Application using the SAP Mobile Platform server as a proxy to get to the oData service
