2113343 - Error: Java class not found in classpath - When connecting to MS SQL 2012 using SAP Lumira

Symptom

  • Connecting to a dataset from MS SQL 2012 results in the error:

 

Java class not found in classpath: com.microsoft.Jdbc.SQLServerDriver

Environment

  • SAP Lumira

Cause

  • The MS SQL drivers have not been installed or defined in SAP Lumira

Resolution

  1. Download the latest SQL drivers from:
    http://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=11774
  2. In SAP Lumira under the File menu find Preferences.
  3. Click on SQL Drivers.
  4. Select the SQL Driver.
  5. Restart SAP Lumira.
