• The Adaptive Server error log reports a timeslice error:
   
  timeslice -1501, current process infected at 0xb4f89f (qualpage+0x8ef)
   
• This timeslice error is followed by a stack trace with the following modules:
   
  apl_getnext()
  xsc__syslogs_getnext()
  xls_getnext()
  dol_def_update()
  dodeferred()
  xact_endupdate()
   
• Upon restart of the Adaptive Server, recovery fails with Error 3301, Severity 21, State 12:
   
  Recovering database 'xxxxx'.
  Started estimating recovery log boundaries for database 'xxxxx'.
  Database 'xxxxx', checkpoint=(13781486, 23), first=(13765688, 31), last=(13782115, 25).
  Completed estimating recovery log boundaries for database 'xxxxx'.
  Started ANALYSIS pass for database 'xxxxx'.
  Error: 3301, Severity: 21, State: 12
  Invalid log record found in syslogs (logop 240).
  Database 'xxxxx' (dbid 5): Recovery failed. Check the ASE error log for further information as to the cause.
