2114465 - Error 515 inserting an empty string variable into non-null column when auditing is enabled - ASE

Symptom

Receives the following error when inserting a variable containing an empty string value:

Msg 515, Level 16, State 3:

Server 'MYASE', Line 3:

Attempt to insert NULL value into column 'colB', table 'tempdb.dbo.jTest'; column does not allow nulls. Update fails.

Command has been aborted.
