SAP Knowledge Base Article - Preview

2114637 - NULL format in output flat file changed since Data Services 3.x

Symptom

  • Upgraded Data Services (DS) from 3.1 to 4.1.
  • For the columns returning NULL values, the output (to csv or txt file) has been changed:
    • In DS 3.1, the output is "","","" (blank with double quotes)
    • In DS 4.1, the output is ,, (blank without double quotes)
