2115255 - Error 12859 "Column sysobjects.sysstat4 has length '0' should be '1'..." using index compression - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • Upgrade SAP ASE 15.7 to SAP ASE 16.0 SP0 PL3.
  • After upgrade, following error is reported when all indexes on a specified table are compressed:

Error: 12859, Severity: 20, State: 1 Column sysobjects.sysstat4 has length '0', should be '1'. 
The sysobjects row is for database 'saptools' (5), object 'DBH_STATISTICS' (768002736).
ALTER INDEX dbo."DBH_STATISTICS"."DBH_STATISTICS~0" SET INDEX_COMPRESSION = PAGE
