Resolution
Since SuccessFactors utilizes the .csv file format and many users have Microsoft Excel installed, below are some tips for opening .txt or .csv files in MS Excel:
- Open Excel and go to the Data tab.
- Click From Text, then locate and select the file to import.
- Check if the file displays the desired columns. If correct, click Load.
- If the columns are not formatted correctly, choose a different format under File Origin. The default format is typically Unicode (UTF-8).
- Select your preferred format and click Load.
