Resolution

SuccessFactors utilizes the .csv file format, and since many users have Microsoft Excel installed, here are some tips for opening .txt or .csv files in MS Excel 2016:

  1. Open Excel and go to the Data tab.
  2. Click From Text, then locate and select the file to import.
  3. Check if the file displays the desired columns. If correct, click Load.
  4. If the columns are not formatted correctly, choose a different format under File Origin. The default format is typically Unicode (UTF-8).
  5. Select your preferred format and click Load.
