2116586 - Variant cannot be saved in transaction V_V2, deleting old entries from table INDX

Symptom

  • You try to create and save a new variant for transaction V_V2 (report SDV03V02). You receive a time out dump before the variant could get saved.
  • Number of entries for table INDX cannot be checked through transaction SE16 or SE16N.
