EAServer 6.3.1 is installed and shows that it is in graced mode for 30 days. In the EAServer log file, it shows the license and product type as:
INFO main [ApplicationServer:EAServer] Server license edition: Developer Edition (DE), type: Development and Testing License (DT)
From the EAServer 6.x Installation Guide, it states that you do not need a license for the Developer Edition of EAServer. All other editions require a license.
