2118135 - You Are Unable To Edit/Adapt The Overview Screen Of Home Work Center

You are unable to edit/adapt the overview view of home work center as all options are grayed out.

1. Go to Home work center.
2. Choose Enter Adaptation Mode under the drop-down list of Adapt tab.
3. Choose Yes.
4. Choose Edit screen under the drop-down list of Adapt tab.

You can see that all options are grayed out.

In the current versions of SAP Business ByDesign it is not possible to edit the Overview screen of any work center.

However you can personalize them to any background image, quick links/content and reports specific to user.

Kindly follow the below steps to update the content/link to Overview view of Home work center,

1. Go to Home work center.
2. Choose This Screen under the drop-down of Personalize tab.
3. Select Available Content.
4. Check/Uncheck the required content.
5. Save.

Kindly follow the below steps to add the report to Overview view of Home work center.

1. Go to Home work center.
2. Choose This Screen under the drop-down of Personalize tab.
3. Select Add a Report.
4. Choose the relevant report and navigate to General Properties.
5. Provide a Title if required and Appearance.
6. Under Properties, if applicable, select the default view format and variant.
7. Choose Add.
8. Save.

The same logic applies for Overview view of every work center of SAP Business ByDesign.
