2118183 - BI 4.1 - "An error occured, could not find the document" while accessing a BI doc iView through NW EP

Symptom

  • While trying to open a BI document iView, an error is displayed:

An errror occured, could not find the document

  • Generating an End-to-End trace as shown in KBA 1861180 through EP to access the document, the following error is found in the Central Management Server (CMS) logs:

2015 01 02 12:48:38:841|Security::IsAllowed( U=<UserID>,R=3,Ob=<ObjectID>,Own=12,T=<ObjectType> ) : IsAllowed=false defined=false
2015 01 02 12:48:38:841|[UID=<UserID>;USID=<USID>;ID=<ObjectID>] CInfoStoreSubsystem::Query_IsAllowedToSeeObject: user has no right to see the object <name of the object>
