Symptom
You query monCachedStatement monitoring table to monitor the contents of Statement Cache on your ASE database system. On occasion you find ASE processes querying monCachedStatement to fail with a timeslice error while holding the SSQLCACHE_SPIN spinlock.
The failure is typically accompanied by a stacktrace referencing routines: ubfgrow, kbfalloc, mda_populate_monCachedStatement.
