2120879 - The nvl() function works with unexpected results while processing large dataset - Data Services 4.2

Symptom

  • The nvl() function returns wrong values.
  • The same job works fine on Data Services 4.0.
  • The issue only happens when processing certain amount of data.  With small dataset, the issue won't happen.
  • For example, nvl(column, -1), when there is a large amount of data, the result may become 0 or null but not -1.
