Running a query or displaying data of an infoprovider terminates with error:

       System error in program CL_RSR and form GET_PROVID-02-
       Message no. BRAIN299

In frontend tools a cascaded error message such as the follows might be displayed:

      Could not instantiate data source "DS_1" for query ..

The error can occur in different contexts, e.g.:

• Displaying cube data using transaction LISTCUBE
• Executing report /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_CONS_CHECK
• Running queries using transaction RSRT or a frontend tool
• Running transient queries or Fiori Apps in Launchpad
• /iwfnd/maint_service -> Add service and get error:
