2122171 - How to Increase Maximum Number of Column in Analysis for Microsoft PowerPoint

Symptom

The maximum number of Columns is fixed as 12, the others are displayed as [...].

Environment

SAP BusinessObjects Analysis 1.4, edition for Microsoft Office
SAP BusinessObjects Analysis 2.0, edition for Microsoft Office

Reproducing the Issue

Insert a query which has more than 12 columns in Analysis for Microsoft PowerPoint.

Cause

This is default setting.

Resolution

To increase the maximum number, please change the Windows Registry below as follows:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SAP\AdvancedAnalysis\Settings\PowerPointGrid]
"ColumnsOfData"="<number>"
