2123183 - The schemamap of a connection doesn't work for table subscription - SAP SRS

Symptom

  • Creating a table subscription fails with errors:

Finished text buffer = [truncate table TESTUSER.T1  ].
Message from server: Message: 259, State 0, Severity 5 -- '[ statement ][ HANA ] SQLPrepare [SAP AG][LIBODBCHDB SO][HDBODBC] Base table or view not found;259 invalid table name: T1: line 1 col 25 (at pos 24)'.
ERROR #5051 MatApply( ) - eneric/dsi/dsiexec.c(693)
Received errors from database 'HANA.HANA'. See logged ct-lib and data server messages for more information.
ERROR #28314 MatApply( ) - eneric/sub/sub_mat.c(6196)
Failed to truncate table 'TESTUSER.T1' in database 'HANA.HANA'.

  • Since SAP Replication Server 15.7.1 SP200, mapping primary schema or owner to replicate schema or owner is supported at the connection level. This could be an easy solution for different schemas or owners between primary and replicate databases, but this feature is not effective for table subscriptions.
