Symptom
- MEMO data type objects do not display data in SAP Crystal Reports 2013.
Environment
- MS SQL 2008 R2
- SQL Server Native Client 10.0 ODBC Driver
- SAP Crystal Reports 2013
Reproducing the Issue
- Create a report based on a ODBC Connection to MSSQL 2008 R2 relational database table which contains a MEMO field(nvarcharmax)
- You can see the MEMO type field in Field Explorer.
- Add the MEMO field to the “Design” section.
- Execute the report.
Cause
-
The value is too long and there is not enough space in the first page to display it.
Resolution
- Right click on the MEMO field, click on Format Field, uncheck the Can Grow option.
- Execute the report.
