2123777 - LOAD TABLE from a binary file fails with conversion error - SAP IQ

Symptom

  • IQ on LINUX could not load a table, using FORMAT BINARY and BYTE ORDER HIGH, from a BINARY FILE created on Solaris.
  • IQ generated the following error:

Could not execute statement.
Cannot convert 3315 to a datetime(23) (column a_column_name)
SQLCODE=-157, ODBC 3 State="07006"
