2124330 - max no of 404 conversations exceeded

Symptom

An SAP AS Java server application which maintains RFC communication via JCo with ABAP system is failing.

JCO related trace reveals error "max no of 404 conversations exceeded/max no of 202 conversations exceeded", such as below.
