Symptom

  • Real-time job contains a batch dataflow that reads from a table
  • Batch job started via a real-time job runs for over 10 minutes
  • ERROR: Unable to send message to service : <Real-time job name> retry/max retry : 1 / 20. Error : Timed Out, timeout : 600000 expired.. BrokerClient TimedOut for Destination : service.<Real-time job name>
  • Real-time job trace shows the job receiving 20 additional requests
  • Real-time job receives a request every 10 minutes when only 1 request is sent
