Symptom

  • Performing an in-place patch upgrade of Adaptive Server Enterprise.
  • During the installation, a message pops up that a file that is being installed is older than the existing version.

 /opt/sybase/OCS-12_5/devlib/libdldap.so.12.5.1.0 exists on this system and is newer than the file being installed. Do you want to replace this file?
