2124975 - Dump READ_REPORT_LINE_TOO_LONG when executing MB51 - SAP ERP & SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

When executing transaction MB51, the system terminates with a runtime dump. The dump contains the following header information:

  • Runtime Error: READ_REPORT_LINE_TOO_LONG
  • Exception: CX_SY_READ_SRC_LINE_TOO_LONG
  • ABAP Program: RM07DOCS

The error occurs immediately after initiating the transaction, before the initial selection screen is displayed.
