Symptom

When viewing a crystal report with hyperlinks and tooltips - the tooltips show URL's instead of what the link goes to

Environment

  • SAP Crystal Reports, version for Microsoft Visual Studio

Reproducing the Issue

  • Create a Crystal Report
  • Obtain / create field withch had a hyperlink
  • Set the tooltip on that hyperlink
  • View the report and view the tool tip for the hyperlink.  It will be the URL for the Hyperlink instead of the proper text

Resolution

This issue has been resolved in Service Pack 13 of Crystal Reports for Visual Studio
