- DBDriver failed to load : C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\dataAccess\connectionServer\drivers\lib32\dbd_oci.dll (The specified module could not be found.)
- Unexpected behavior when selecting Oracle Client driver
- Error "ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified" when testing connection
- Error "ORA-12170: TNS:Connect timeout occurred" when testing connection
Note: To connect to the Oracle database from IDT, both the data access driver (provided by BI product) and the database middleware (provided by database vendor) are required
Current best practice is to use the cscheck command under <BI client tools install directory>\win32_x86\ to troubshoot Oracle connectivity issues (for 32-bit only)
NOTE: For 4.3 version 64 bit driver is supported.
