2127744 - rs_init failed with Error 233 "The column user_status in table sysusers does not allow null values" in ASE - SRS

Symptom

  • rs_init SRS utility messages during SRS creation:

Creating a new RSSD - the message:
CREATE DATABASE: allocating 16384 logical pages (32.0 megabytes) on disk 'REP15
71_RSSD_log' (16384 logical pages requested).
Database 'REP1571_RSSD' is now online.
Created database 'REP1571_RSSD'.
SQL Server message: msg 233, level 16, state 2
WARNING: "The column user_status in table sysusers does not allow null values."
Press <return> to continue.
Failed to add primary user 'REP1571_RSSD_prim' to database 'REP1571_RSSD'.
Press <return> to continue.

Task failed: configure the Replication Server System Database. Terminating configuration.
Press <return> to continue.

Configuration failed.

  • Upgraded ASE 15.7 to SP 131 and then tried to create a new RepServer using SRS 15.7
