2130197 - Error 208: rs_ddldttypes not found - returned by ASE after SRS upgrade via rs_init

Symptom

  • Running rs_init to upgrade SAP Replication Server 15.7.1 SP205 and lower RSSD fails when SRS is restarted.
  • The following error is found at the end of the Replication Server log:

    • ERROR #11061 GLOBAL RS(GLOBAL RS) -
      generic/sts/stscol.c(2404) Check the log for error messages from RSSD.
    • ERROR #1028 GLOBAL RS(GLOBAL RS) -
      generic/sts/stscol.c(2404) Message from server: Message: 208, State 1, Severity 16
      -- 'rs_ddldttypes not found. Specify owner.objectname or use sp_help to
      check whether the object exists (sp_help may produce lots of output).'.
    • FATAL ERROR #18028 GLOBAL RS(GLOBAL RS)
      - /servmain/servmain.c(1947) Initialization failed. Server is shutting down.
    • FATAL ERROR #18028 GLOBAL RS(GLOBAL RS)
      - /servmain/servmain.c(331)       Initialization failed. Server is shutting down.
