Symptom

REORG REBUILD INDEX process hits error 1295 and signal 11:

  • Error: 1295, Severity: 26, State: 1
    Unconditional lock request for table or page <page_number>, dbid <X> was made while holding a latch.
    Illegal attempt to rollback transaction (xactname '$rebldidx') that has already committed in database '<DB_name>', spid <XXXX>.
  • "current process infected with 11" in module 'xls_sessionid' together with a stack trace which includes the following modules:

xls_sessionid()
send_audit()
form_and_send_audit()
chk_and_send_audit()
