2130496 - Application does not start after takeover-HANA Disaster Recovery

Symptom

  • A Disaster Recovery solution is in operation with Primary Site (SITE A) and Secondary Site (SITE B).
  • The application (Suite on HANA / BW on HANA) does not start after the Disaster Recovery takeover to SITE B is completed.
  • trans.log on SITE B shows the following error:
4 ETW000  [dbhdbsql.cpp,00000]  *** ERROR => Connect to database failed, rc=1, rcSQL=-10709        

4 ETW000  [     dev trc,00000]  SQLCODE    : -10709                                                      

4 ETW000  [     dev trc,00000]  SQLERRTEXT : Connection failed (RTE:[89006] System call 'connect' failed, rc=113:No route to host)
