2131244 - How to create an Ad Hoc EarlyWatch Alert in SAP Solution Manager 7.1 [Video]

Important: Most configuration changes are reflected in the next automated EWA report, because ad-hoc reports can only show data for the last Monday to Sunday period (when the configuration change was not yet performed).

Follow the steps shown in the video to create an Ad Hoc EarlyWatch Alert for an ABAP or Dual Stack system:

NOTE:
If after refreshing the session on SDCCN the EWA session doesn't show refer to SAP Notes 2055455 and 1769513 

Ad Hoc EWA for NON-ABAP Systems

Pure Java system:
The Process is the same, only the SDCCN Refresh Session will be run in the SAP Solution Manager system and not the managed system, since SMD was written the information to the Solman BW.

BOBJ system or Sybase Mobile system
Just use the create session step and then run the SM:EXEC SERVICES job to generate the Ad Hoc EWA. SDCCN is not used at all.
